The licence for this app is Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. It governs what you may do with the app, along with the warranty, liability and legal terms that come with it.
The terms below sit alongside it. They describe what the app is, what it is not, and how the subscription works.
By downloading or using Thermal FX (the "app") you agree to those terms and to these. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Thermal FX is a camera filter. It re-colours the ordinary image from your iPhone's camera. It is sold and intended as entertainment.
It does not measure temperature. iPhone has no infrared sensor, and no figure the app shows is a temperature reading.
It does not see through walls, objects, clothing or anything else. The X-Ray mode is a stylised effect with drawn overlays.
The Ghost mode meter responds to movement in the frame and to sound level from the microphone. It does not detect the paranormal, and nothing it displays is evidence of anything.
Do not rely on the app for any purpose where being wrong matters — including inspecting buildings or electrical work, assessing insulation, diagnosing faults, or anything involving health, safety or property.
The app is free to use with one mode and two palettes, and saves photos with a small watermark. Thermal FX Pro unlocks all three modes, all six palettes and video recording, and removes the watermark. It is offered two ways:
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Photos and videos you capture are yours. They stay on your device — see the Privacy Policy — and we claim no rights over them. You are responsible for what you photograph and for having permission to photograph people where that is required.
These terms may be updated; the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Oksana Ogeyko at support@thermal.slumbiapp.com.
